On Tuesday my mom turned 50. Melony, Andrea, and I conspired to throw her a surprise party. I have never done anything like this before so I was nervous about it not coming together. I wanted to do this because to my knowledge, she has never had a real party. At least not since she was in school, so I thought she would really love it! I wanted to make the whole day special. There were surprises through out the day. Starting with a " Over the Hill" award pin that she was instructed to wear all day. When she left for work at 4am she would find it in her car. Then as she pulled out of the garage she saw a "Debbie is 50" sign in the yard with balloons that Tim and I placed there around midnight! After her lunch break at work, Andrea and I delivered black flowers and a balloon to her. Then while she was working,we completely destroyed her van. I'm talking about balloons shoved in the inside and writing on EVERY window and streamers all over! All of this leading up to the party! I told her we were taking her out to dinner and she was to pick us up. Then Surprise!!!!! I even had my grandma from Tampa drive over to be there! Here are some pictures of the fun....
