A Night At The E.R.

The day started out like many others Sundays. Tim cut the grass, Cooper and I hung in the house watching him through the windows. We were all excited about visiting the Brevard Zoo for their "Boo at the Zoo". Cooper would get to wear his new dragon costume and get candy.
First we had a dinner to be at with one of Tim's co workers. Cooper would only eat Ritz crackers. That would normally be weird, but he was in a new house with a bunch of people, and was distracted.
After dinner, we headed down to Melbourne. Cooper was acting very winy and uncomfortable. We assumed it was because he was sleepy. We get him in the stroller and to the gate, and PUKE!!!
We went in anyway thinking it was out of his system. He continued to through up all over the zoo so we called it a night.
While in the car, he continued still. Tim remembered that Cooper fell off of the couch earlier in the day and was worried about a concussion. I called the night nurse from his pediatrician and told her everything that was going on with him. She instructed us to take him to the ER immediately!
By the time we arrive he has now thrown up 6-8 times!
As soon as we are checked in and put in a room, he is back to his old self! Of Course!
As a precaution they wanted a CT to rule out any swelling or hemorrhaging. They gave him a sedative that took FOREVER to kick in. Finally, he falls asleep and is taken to radiology.
An hour later, the doc tells us his brain looks great and we are free to leave!
First of MANY visits to the ER, I'm sure!
