Blowin in the Wind

This weekend Tim and I as well as Melony,Mom and Mel's friend Lauren got together for a yard sale. I spent ALL day on Friday pricing our items at very reasonable prices. I was surprised to find out that many hard core yard salers are on the prowl on Fridays! By the end of the day we had earned $100!! ( This was not about the money,I wanted to get rid of things!) We sold our rears off all the way to Sunday! I glanced through the shoe box we were using as a cash drawer and quickly counted $400!! WOW, the money part is not too bad! At the end of the day we were soo tired and got our belongings together to go home. I make the left onto Fiske Blvd and heard something hit the road. I looked around the car and saw that I had my purse, Cooper's diaper bag and the bag of oranges from Nana's tree.Everything?? I called Tim and asked what was on the top of the car. He said the cash box....... @#$*!......What do I do!!?? Picture this if you will, we are running across and up and down the most major street in Rockledge at 7:30pm. Cooper is in the truck wondering what his foolish parents are doing! If you dumped $400 in the street you would too! We had a lot of help from Mel and Mom. Lauren took Coop to her house so we could comb the streets looking for dollar bills. We met a lovely alcholic who accused us of digging in his trash and said he would call the cops. I told him " Great,if you do tell him Carol said she could use their help!) I guess he really did call,but not to ask for help. Long stroy short,we had about 5 Rockledge PD helping. We found $175. Not a total loss. I really hope that someone who could really use the money finds it,but with the way my luck has been,it will probally be a crack head!
