Our Holiday Weekend

This weekend was full of holiday activity. We started off by enjoying Thanksgiving Day at Cooper's Nana's house with the whole McDarmont side of the family. It was a great day full of family fun, excellent food, and of course, . . . . after dinner naps (For Tim at least).

The next day, we woke up early and prepared for a day of decorating and cooking. Tim went up into the attic to pull down all of the Christmas decorations that he had put up there less than three weeks ago when we moved in. I began preparing for another Thanksgiving Day dinner for us and Tim's Dad, who came over to help us decorate and to visit with Cooper. Tim and his Dad put up our first Christmas lights ever on the outside of the house while I prepared a bountiful feast (to my surprise, it turned out excellent).

After dinner, we all put up the Christmas tree and all of the other fun Christmas decorations that we have for around the house. This year should be great. Two of Cooper's favorite things are (#1) lights, and (#2) trees. We have magically put the two together for him.

Tim, Cooper, and I hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving!
