To my beautiful wife and precious son:
Today I had a long and interesting day. I had 22 hours of sunshine, I saw the frozen lakes of Canada, the snowy mountains of Alaska, the shores of Russia, and the rice fields of Japan. But despite all of that, I couldn't stop thinking about the two of you. I miss you both very much, and I love you more than I could ever describe. I look forward to seeing you on Friday. Give each other lots of kisses from me.
