Sea World 2008

Yesterday, my Dad, Step mom, Cooper and I took a trip to Sea World. Despite the heat, humidity, and rain we had a blast. Cooper missed the sea lion and otter show, as he got freaked out by the loud noises.He loved watching the sharks and fish swim around their tanks. Shamu didn't really impress him as much as looking at the hundreds of people in the stands.

After a much needed nap he was energized and ready for some fun! We took him to Shamu's Happy Harbor to ride some rides. He rode the carousel all by himself! He and his Grandpa took a spin in the Swishy Fishy ride. Then, with some uncertainty on our part, he rode a crab ride that takes you up in the air and then drops you fast over and over. He was so brave and didn't cry and actually liked it! He got lots of high fives from other guest at the park who couldn't believe he rode it (including the ride operator)!! He did look funny as heck sitting there with the harness covering all of him but his feet!
